Building loft bed with storage underneath is not much harder than building high bed on their own. Whole project should have only two or three hours, once you have gathered your tools and supplies. When finished, you will have 20 square meters of floor space under bed with shelves lining one side. These instructions are for a double bed loft size, but you can modify for other mattress sizes by adjusting dimensions of timber.
Place loft bed with storage into position near wall. Two inch triangle should rest against pole itself, with remainder protruding outwardly in space under bed frame. Longest straight edge of triangle should run along length of post. Other must run parallel to ground; edge diagonally down at an angle of 45 degrees to position. Secure with two screws driven through wood and into post. Lower corner of triangle should be within half an inch off ground.
